Uneasy Calm in Conakry

Following our news bulletin earlier this week, the Guinean government has now announced that the general election results will not be available before Friday, 2 July 2010.

Anxiety and trepidation have perturbed business. Most companies are closed and many people will be staying at home until they feel it is safe to go out. The streets almost empty but the port is not closed at the moment.
