DR Congo: Election Results Delayed
As
reported in the press, votes are still being counted in the DR Congo’s presidential
election and therefore the results were not published this weekend as originally
announced (see our website alert of 2 January 2019).
Budd
DR Congo advised us over the phone this morning that both internet and text
messaging services are still down in the country’s principal agglomerations.
It
is now thought that the election results will be published later this week. Internet and texting services should then resume.
In
the interim, Budd’s French head offices will be pleased to assist in
