Ghana’s Ports of Takoradi & Tema Close for Good Friday
In the ports of Tema and Takoradi, all port operators and users including shipping lines, agents and stakeholders, have been advised by the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority that no vessels will be allowed to berth or sail from 06:00 on Good Friday, 2 April 2021 to 06:00 am on Saturday, 3 April 2021.
Cargo handling operations will be suspended from 06:00 on 2 April until 07:00 on 3 April 2021.
As indicated in the circulars issued by Tema and Takoradi port authorities (see links below), all port port operators are requested to take adequate safety and fire prevention measures during this Easter break.
