Global Shipping Bodies Issue Ebola Virus Advice. Sierra Leone & Liberia Update.

In view of the mounting concern over the Ebola virus, the International Chamber of Shipping, International Maritime Employers’ Council and the Internatinal Transport Worker’s Federation have issued formal advice which may be accessed via the link to their press release below.

According to the latest news on the ground,  in a bid to contain the virus, Liberia has set up a blockade to prevent people from the Western regions from entering Monrovia while Sierra Leone has quarantined the areas affected by Ebola in the East of the country.
