Rades Closed to Container Ships for Two Days

At a meeting held yesterday (27 November 2019) between the Rades port authorities and local
stakeholders, it was decided that the port would be closed to all container
traffic from for two days from Saturday, 30 November to Sunday, 1 December
2019.

The closure is to enable finalisation of the TOP/SMART GATE GO systems.  These smart systems, combined with
investments in port infrastructure, aim to accelerate container handling and
eliminate the need for vessels to wait at anchorage.

All container vessels must leave the port by Friday night (29 November 2019) at the
latest.

Budd Tunisia has just received the official port circular and provided the attached
translation.
