COVID-19: Preventive Measures in Cotonou, Benin
In a circular dated 27 March 2020, Cotonou’s Harbour Master informed all port stakeholders and users that the following measures had been introduced to limit the COVID-19 outbreak:

Following the news that, in a move to limit the spread of the COVID 19 outbreak, Vietnam had closed its courts up to the end of March 2020, Budd Vietnam advises that this measure has now been extended with the introduction of a 15-day period of social distancing starting from today (1 April 2020) onwards.

Following our 19/03/20 update on the situation in France, the government has recently reinforced confinement measures by requiring all people leaving their homes to carry forms which indicate not only the date and purpose of their outing, but also the time at which they went out.
COVID-19: Land, Air & Sea Borders Closed in Togo. Crew Quarantine Measures.
Following the anti-COVID-19 measures reported previously, Budd Togo advises that all the country’s land, air and sea borders were closed on 21 March 2020.
COVID-19: Tunisia Introduces Confinement Measures & Closes Borders
Budd Tunisia advises that the government has closed all air, sea and land borders with a view to containing the COVID-19 outbreak.
Confinement measures have also been introduced with the result that our colleagues in Tunisia are now working from home.
COVID-19: Ghana’s Protective Measures

Since drafting the information below, Budd Ghana advises that all the country’s land, sea and air borders will be closed from midnight tonight, 22 March 2020.
It is not yet known if this will modify emergency disembarkation of non-Ghanaians from vessels calling in Takoradi or Tema.
COVID-19: France
On 16 March 2020, the French government announced measures limiting the movement of private individuals from 12:00 on 17 March 2020 for a minimum of two weeks with the aim of containing the risk of COVID-19 infection.
